Intern (Vet Graduate)

Job Description

CM Punjab’s signature initiative of paid internship for fresh vets and para-vets under ADP scheme “CM Punjab internship program for vets and para-vets” for a period of 12 months, with a monthly stipend of Rs.60000, to prepare an experienced field force, and to facilitate the transition from academic education to professional development opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

• Field Veterinary Work
  • Perform clinical cases at CVH/ CVDs or field sites
  • Monitor vaccination campaigns and AI services
  • Participation in disease surveillance and sample collection (blood, feces, etc.)
• Public Awareness Campaigns
  • Conduct awareness sessions with farmers on best management practices (Livestock Baithak etc.)
  • Engage with farmers to promote projects and initiatives of Livestock Department
  • School focus programs
• Technical Reporting
  • Ensure maintenance of accurate treatment, vaccination & surveillance records
• Any other task assigned by the Department
