Job Description

CM Punjab’s signature initiative of paid internship for fresh vets and para-vets under ADP scheme “CM Punjab internship program for vets and para-vets” for a period of 12 months, with a monthly stipend of Rs.40000, to prepare an experienced field force, and to facilitate the transition from academic education to professional development opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Field Veterinary Work
  • Assists in clinical cases at CVH/ CVDs or field sites
  • Perform scheduled vaccinations, artificial inseminations (AI), sample collection and clinical tests
  • Collection of data of milk yield, feeding, & animal health conditions etc.
• Public Awareness Campaigns
  • Assist in conducting awareness sessions with farmers on livestock best management practices (Livestock Baithak etc.)
  • Engage with farmers to promote projects and initiatives of Livestock Department
  • Assist in school focus programs
• Technical Reporting
  • Maintain accurate vaccination, AI, test results and other relevant records
• Any other task assigned by the Department
