QUALIFICATION 

• BSc in Civil Engineering/ Environmental Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Public Health Engineering

EXPERIENCE 

• In general, 8 years of relevant work experience in matters related to civil engineering, infrastructure development, water supply / sewerage operations etc.
• 4 years of experience of working in similar projects/assignments

Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Review existing water related operation and maintenance plans, procedures and protocols in the targeted Tehsils of PRSWSSP.
• Develop a comprehensive strategy for the provision of new schemes and operational plans related to water supply systems to achieve the set targets.
• Propose performance indicators to achieve cost-effective, sustainable, accountable, transparent, and environment friendly municipal services delivery related to water supply in the target tehsils.
• Manage, supervise and guide the consultants in developing and implementing water supply schemes in the target tehsils of PRSWSSP.
• Oversee and manage all the relevant resources deployed at SDUs for effective and efficient working of the project water supply schemes.
• Work closely with consultants/contractors to prepare the project plans, schedules, design and specifications, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems.
• Manage and monitor the progress of engineering consultants and other related consultants/contractors in terms of time lines, forecasting, cost, and quality.
• Manage monitoring framework / dashboard of respective water supply projects.
• Hold progress review meetings with the relevant stakeholders especially consultants and contractors and maintain regular follow up and feedback on agreed actions.
